RTL Equipment Inc is seeking a Parts Clerk to join our team at our Grimes, Iowa location. This role is essential to supporting our customers and service technicians by ensuring the correct parts are identified, stocked, and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and service technicians with identifying and ordering parts
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the parts management system
- Prepare parts for work orders, counter sales, and special orders
- Process returns, core parts, and warranty-related items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department
- Work closely with the service and sales teams to meet customer needs
Qualifications
- Previous parts, warehouse, or equipment experience preferred
- Knowledge of heavy construction equipment, diesel engines, or agricultural equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
