RTL Equipment Sponsors Iowa DOT Training

Recently, we were pleased to sponsor an Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) training session in Cedar Rapids, along with the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA). The training was conducted by DOT Enforcement Officers and covered new and changing regulations-something everyone in attendance needed to understand fully. Items discussed included tie down and weight regulations for low boys as well as 1-2 ton loads, load limits based on tire size, and axle spacing and regulations by tonnage. There was an excellent Q & A session after the presentation and we’re happy to have been able to help facilitate such an important and successful meeting.
