Crane Technician - Big Lake, Minnesota

RTL Equipment, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time qualified crane technician based out of our Big Lake location in Minnesota. Big Lake is located just off I94 and approximately 40 miles northwest of Minneapolis. This is a full-time 40 hours per week position with opportunities for overtime available. A company owned service truck will be provided for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair customer and company owned equipment
• Proficiently diagnose mechanical, diesel, hydraulic, and electrical issues and codes
• Communicate with Service Managers and OEM Representatives to ensure repair issues are resolved accurately in a timely manner
• Document the repair process and parts needed in the work order
• Follow-up with customers to ensure their machines are working properly post-repair

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of Crane Technician experience or 2-year technical degree
• Positive attitude and desire to work well with others
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Current Class D w/ chauffeur's endorsement, CDL, or ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass Drug Test
• Overnight travel is probable in this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
