Heavy Equipment Technician
Location: All Locations
RTL Equipment, Inc. is looking to hire full-time qualified service technicians at all locations (Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, Iowa as well as Big Lake and Brainerd, Minnesota). These are full-time, 40 hours per week positions with opportunities for overtime. Wages based on Experience
Qualifications and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain/repair mechanical, diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems in both customer and internal equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Document the repair process and parts needed in the work order
- Travel to customer jobsites and troubleshoot error codes in the field.Qualifications:2-5 years of experience repairing heavy equipment or 2-year technical degree
- Crane and/or excavator experience preferred
- Candidates will need their own set of tools
- Positive attitude and desire to work with others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current Class D w/ chauffeur's endorsement, CDL, or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass Drug Test
